On Tuesday 26th June the patients in the Baillie Wing were entertained by Raymond Carse of The Tartan Lads fame.

Masonic Lodge Polkemmet No 927 had raised funds by organising a raffle, dinner and dance and a diary with various sports memorabillia for two charities, Tippethill League of Friends and the Special Baby Care Unit at Simpsons Edinburgh.

The money raised was equally shared and each charity was given £3,870. The Right Worshipful Master, Brother Gordon McConnell and his deputation handed over the cheque to Tippethill League of Friends. This was a magnificent effort by the members of Masonic Lodge Polkemmet No 927.

Tippethill League of Friends would like to thank all the people who donated the prizes and supported this charity. This is very much appreciated. All money and donations raised will be spent for the benefit of the patients in Tippethill House.
