In order to succeed as an organisation, the staff, members and volunteers must know what it is about.

It is important to clearly describe why the organisation is there and what it is there to achieve.  Creating a vision and mission statement is a great way to articulate these ideas about your organisation, your members, your volunteers and the world at large.
