Supporting people whose lives have been affected by an acquired brain injury with taking the next steps in their lives

After leaving hospital with a brain injury, I felt lost and alone, but the second I arrived at Attend, I immediately felt listened to and cared for.

If you, or anyone you know, has suffered an acquired brain injury – we are here for you.

Attend ABI projects are designed to support people with an acquired brain injury by bridging the gap between a patient’s discharge and their return to the wider community. The projects aim to help individuals learn more about how to cope with their brain injury, develop their skill set, and take the necessary steps to achieve their goals.

To engage with Attend ABI services or access suitable programmes within London, the individual will first meet with the ABI Navigator who will guide them on their next steps forward after a brain injury.

FAABI

The Friends of Attend ABI (FAABI) raise funds and support ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) projects run by Attend. It has been established by a group of like-minded individuals who aim to improve the lives of those affected by brain injury. It welcomes anyone who has had an acquired brain injury and lives in the London area.

FAABI runs a range of social activities, educational courses, accessible fitness and sporting sessions as well as a whole host of other activities.

If you would like to take part in these events, please sign up through the FAABI website to receive the newsletter:
