As more companies, such as Marks & Spencer, Sainsburys and Tesco look to expand their retail and catering services in hospitals, the support given by Attend Retail has never been more relevant.

There are some 300 retail or catering outlets run by our member groups in hospitals. As well as providing a valued service to patients, all proceeds are donated to the hospitals where they operate. Members' outlets are coming under increasing pressure as commercial operations seek to expand their market place in hospitals.

Attend Retail provide a wide range of services all aimed at supporting local groups. In retail, if you stand still, your business starts to fail, and will eventually become 'not fit for purpose'.

Attend Retail can provide any group with a comprehensive 'health report' covering:

After we visit your unit and meet with staff and volunteers, we produce a comprehensive report  for consideration and ongoing action. All we charge the local group are travel costs, which are of course kept to a minimum. 


As we can represent all member groups, Attend Retail is able to negotiate with many of the main suppliers such as Walkers, Mars, GSK and others to secure the best packages for you. The more groups who use recommended suppliers the better the terms are that Attend Retail can negotiate.


We send out regular promotions from preferred suppliers to member groups. These promotions enable groups to  save money, give something back to their loyal customers and at the same time increase their sales.


There is a science to how people buy goods in a shop. Simple changes can increase sales significantly. Planograms can be provided for units. These ensure top selling lines are stocked and displayed to best effect, maximising sales and ensuring high levels of donations to help hospital patients.
