As part of the Fellowhip offered by Clore Social Leadership Programme, each fellow is required to undertake a piece of practice-based research. The purpose of the research is to help develop Fellows’ skills as critical users of research, and to help develop the evidence base for the sector as a whole.

This piece of research focuses on what we can learn from a generation of formidable women, with a great love of their local community, whose leadership has been, and remains, fundamental to the Leagues of Friends.
