Accredited Volunteer Management Qualifications
Accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) or CMI.
Managing Volunteers for Line Managers
This programme supports line managers in an organisation, where a part, but not all, of their work is managing volunteers. We offer three versions of this course to suit different organisations and individuals.
ILM Level 3 Award in the Management of Volunteers
This ILM accredited course is a Vocationally Related Qualification (VRQ) for those with responsibility for co-ordinating the contribution volunteers on a day-to-day basis.
CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership
Tailored to Volunteer Management, this CMI accredited programme is for those responsible for managing volunteering programmes within their organisation.

Developing Volunteering Projects
This is available as an ‘in-house’ training option, suitable for all those involved in leading on volunteering projects, including line managers, supervisors and team leaders who wish to develop good practice.
Leading in a Volunteering Environment (LiVE)
The LiVE programme is an ‘in-house’ training option, designed to both support those new to leading volunteers and to provide the opportunity for structured reflection for those who have been responsible for leading volunteers for some time.
Inclusive Volunteering
This is an ‘in-house’ training option, designed for those within an organisation who are responsible for the volunteer management function, with a remit to develop the diversity of volunteers that support the work of their organisation.
Coaching
Personal coaching in managing volunteers/volunteering programmes, by ICF accredited coach.
Consultancy
Tailored support for managing volunteers in your organisation. Provided by experienced and qualified consultants.
One-day/Half-day Workshops
A range of in-house volunteer management workshops that can be tailored to your organisation’s needs.
